I had a Canadian boarder once when I lived in Northern Alberta - never had a Mexican one though, so I really can't compare. The Canadian dude left the @#$%*& sliding doors open one night when it was almost 30 below which caused my heater pipes to burst. Made one hell of a mess. Needless to say, the prick had to board somewhere else after that little stunt.
