Like madmaxx said. If the push rod is not pushing square on the piston in the slave cylinder, it will put side loads on the slave cylinder. This can cause it to wear unevenly and start leaking sooner rather than later. As the clutch fork position cannot be easily changed, look to see if the position of the slave cylinder or its mounting bracket can be adjusted.
