I was the person who's DMV consultant told me NO SB100's are left....I asked her again to verify and she said she was sure, but I will try to call Sacramento myself on Tue (closed today and Mon). But I have another question: My reading of SB100 (assuming you are one of the lucky 500) in terms of the BAR inspection, is that you get to choose either year of engine OR year of body style, which is 1965....is that correct? Also, if car is already registered out of state, and that State DMV has the original MSO, when I go to register next Jan in CA, will they take a copy of MSO? Will FF issue a duplicate original?

This is all SOOOOOOOO frustrating: I have been waiting to buy this NV car for over a year (I WISH owner that built it had registered it in NV as 65, but title shows 2003), but had to sell another car first, which I just did this week, so can now buy the FF in NV only to face these title questions!

Anyone else buy a finished, already registered car in another state that was NOT registered out of state as a 65? Assume a "newer" engine.....any luck with SB100? I am in LA, who is BEST person to see in terms of DMV office and BAR inspector that knows FF cars?

Thanks, Neil
