Default Lake San Antonio with Central Coast Cobras

All,

I attended this event last year at Lake San Antonio. It was a great day and a really great BBQ. I did not make the Wheels and Wings. We should talk about joining the parade down to the lake.

Saturday, March 27, Central Coast Cobras, is having their third Lake San Antonio BBQ. All muscle cars are invited. Our first year we had 23 Cobras, Ford GT's, and a couple of GT500's there. Our second year we had a little more than 100 cars attending.
The BBQ cost is $5.00, park entrance is $6.00, This includes food, drink, and fun is included. Please RSVP as soon as you can please. We need to make sure that we supply enough food. I'm including a flier for this event.
The BBQ, at the lake, starts at noon. There will be two departure locations. Mike will be leading a group from Monterey, and I'll be leading another group from Atascadero. The flier explains all. If you have any questions, please call, or email me. As time gets closer, I'll let you know the exact time, and location of departure.

Saturday, May 8, Wings and Wheels. The Warbirds Air Museum, Paso Robles, is having their second annual car show. At this event, you'll be able to park your special ride within inches from famous war planes. This is more than just a car show. At the show, we'll be celebrating two events. The Woodland family will be celebrating their grand opening of the Woodland Auto Museum. At the museum, you'll not only be able to view several authentic race cars, but you'll be able to participate in a virtual reality race in a sprint car.
Dean, from Jan and Dean, remember them from the 60's ?, will be attending. Auto racing legend, Parnelli Jones will be there.
This year, we are limiting 175 cars for this event, so get your car entered as soon as you can. You can go on the Warbirds web site at www.ewarbirds.org to register. Even if you don't have a car to enter, come on by and check out the show.
Both these shows may be a long drive from where you live. I've arranged a block of rooms at the La Quinta Hotel with a great discount for these events. If you are trailering your vehicle, I also have a secure place to park trailers.
As soon as our flier is available, I'll get it sent out.
If you have any questions on either of these events, you can contact me at 805 423-1095, or email me at centralcoastcobras@yahoo.com
