I am struggleing to understand that as well Michael.

The Ford guys prattle on about how good there Ford motors are, yet they must think that they either are not as good as the LS1 or so much beter they figured we need our own class to keep us happy?

I am slow but would happily be in the same class as a stock 351 windsor or clevo, after all my LS1 is stock (Or atleast I have not changed any of its internals) Dyno guy recons that vacuum readings and smooth idle suggested stock cam.
