I didn't run the car on the track, I had these screens and threw them on for the day running around the city so I did not change anything on the car other than unbolt then reinstall the windshield. The windsheild and frame was replaced by the last owner several years ago. No vibration in the seat/car or steering wheel. It all comes from behind the dash and stops when pressure is put on the windshield (I push it physically or pull it), oddly at speed (over 40 mph) the vibration is present although there has to be significant force on it. This is quite audible even at speed in an open Cobra and is not progressive!
I have to think now that I have changed some fine balance by not tightening this back into the position it was in originally. I don't want to waste all of your time with something that is probably just going to need me getting someone in the passenger seat to start testing areas under/behind the dash when it occurs. The vibration was not there before and nothing has changed with the car.
I appreciate all the assistance but I think now it will take time and investigation with a passenger trying to trace this.
