I'm considering flying up and back on 2/13/10.
Going out of Sacramento doesn't appear that great as far as departure times. Flying out of Oakland, you can get a non-stop departing at 8:50 AM and arriving in SLC at 11:40 AM. With renting a car, that would put you at the Kirkham's shop around 1:00 PM. Spend three hours there and back on a 6:25 PM flight back to Oakland arriving at 7:30 PM.
I'm contemplating those flight times for myself. Not perfect though, but appears the best available, unless you fly in on Friday, but then what do you do in SLC in the evening? Do they serve coffee in UT?
