Default definitely an Fe...

I had to pull the pushrods to yank the intake
Here's the most recent photos. The worst damage was surface rust and galvanic reaction in the bores - not pitted yet, just some crud starting to accumulate. Lifters had some water in them (the antifreeze is there from pulling the intake), cam has slight surface rust on the lobes which may clean off.

Despite all this, the motor still turned freely and there's no signs of freeze damage.

There were some interesting 'defects' that probably wouldn't have affected anything for awhile, but you never know...Intake bolts were turning black and cruddy from contact with antifreeze and aluminum, and several sections of the intake gaskets were tearing or separating...Hmm...

Lotsa dirt!
