Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

I'm sure it would like some bigger headers Karl. I had Edelbrock shorties (1 3/4) on a 496 I had in the old SS, it never ran like we thought it would from the dyno numbers, 580hp/590tq with 2" long tubes. The 468 in it now has the same heads and cam but with about 1/2 point less compression. It has Hooker Super Comps with 2" tubes and 3" exhaust with super 40's. It's a bit loud but seems to do the job.

I have not been able to find any big tube block huggers SBC or BBC that I thought could be made to fit! No matter SBC or BBC I think custom made is the only way to go. The OEM headers from CR-II are a joke! They are tiny at the flange, I think they are choking the motor I have! Needless to say more heads and cam is not going to do any good if you can't get rid of the spent gasses!
