The TKO's don't shift like the T5's. The difference is the size of the gears in the TKO's. The gears are much bigger (to handle 600 lb-ft of torque vs 300 in the T5) in the TKO.

You can do some things to improve this. The first thing is a good aftermarket shifter. That will help you hit the right gear when you're shifting fast. There are also some things that we can do internally to help the trans shift easier, quicker, and at a higher rpm.
