The only alternate reality (assuming that the rotor is not mis-boxed) is that the rotor is for a early E-Type (~'61-'64), which did not have the hole for caliper bracket access. But that joint used the same u-joint cross as the later ones. Unfortunately, I don't have any information on the early flange, which determines the bolt pattern. Frankly, I doubt whether it's different.
