Some of the best drivers that I know are in the Cobra community, so I will ask this here.

Is anybody here involved with Jr. Kart racing? My 5 year old has been asking to try racing, what is the safest way to introduce him to the sport? I found that Bandimere has a track and runs parent/child days so that we can both be on the track together, is this a good start, or is there a gentler way into it? how fast does a 50cc kart go?
