Although a lot of guys like the EFI, it is an awful lot of work. The only thing the tank needs modified for is a return line. Fuel ump has to be a consistent 45 PSI. I don't know what year your EFI system is but we installed many, many units without the gauge pods, etc. Maybe a new era? All we worried about was the ECM for an automatic or 5-speed.
At this point I see absolutely nothing wrong with an MSD 6AL, Electronic Distributor, and an auto choke Edelbrock. (This will create quite a stir, I am sure!
)
OR, you could call a company called Mas Flo and they will sell you the computer, the engine harness, the computer, two 02 sensors and everything to hook it up. Finishing one up as we speak. Extremely simple and very high quality!
