I just went thru this too. Depending on the year of your block, you could have a 2 piece or a 1 piece seal on a Windsor block. The two piece seal is located under the last rear main on the crank. A one piece is is accessable from the rear of the engine. Many engine shops machine the older 2 piece seal blocks to accept the 1 piece seal. All that silicone I see in your photos is there to seal the back of the pan I think. a very common place for leaks. Looks like you have the 2 piece to me...
