I didn't like the idea of the spacer and my bell actually measured a depth just shy of 7" (6.950 to be exact) so I did not get a bell that was 7.050 depth as advertised.
Just another day of fabrication!

Maybe I missed something in reading the thread. The bellhousng is advertised by Quicktime as being deep enough to accomodate the longer shaft of the Tremec? And it wasn't? Why not return the bell to Quicktime for one that has the advertised specs?
