Texas and the various Tribes that were here worked hard to reach an agreement from 1839-6/27/1874. A final "arrangement" was reached January 1881.
The Tribes "agreed" that their health and general well being were to be found outside of Texas.
By the 1900 Census,there were 460 Indians left in Texas.
