Hmmmm. I have tried to stay away from this ever since Jamo STOMPED all over my Hokum thread... not that I was trying to start trouble or anything... but I still would like to get hook on the angle how 1/5 of the economy is health care, and 1/5 of America works for the government (in one form or another, ie, dependant on the guv for their health care).

I think its possible that the guv is worried about promises made and promises to keep, and at the same time interested in recruiting more folks to the Dark Side. OK, its got a whiff of conspiracy to it, but 1/5 of the population gets to keep the government "gold plated, untaxed Cadilac" plan, the rest of us smucks pay for it and get the DMV version... what would you do? Keep on keeping on, or go over to the Dark Side and get what the 1/5th are getting?
The problem is, what happens when the majority of us work for the government?
