That would have been aluminum and probably without a Ford #. The fact that he knows it is a cast iron intake indicates it is a bread and butter intake manifold. There was NO factory 427 Intake that was cast iron and any marine engine would have had a J code instead of an A. I would venture that unless someone is needing a casting # correct intake for a restoration and has to have a specific date code( which isn't known), I'd say it's maybe a $50 intake. IF it has a date code that can't be found in the 100,000 produced and laying around it may be worth more...to someone. Shipping around the corner on that would cost more than $50. If it had been stated in the OP that it was cast iron the thread would have ended in maybe 4-5 posts.
