When Ford (Lee I.) decided to have the scalloped rear-end, I fell out of favor for the old steed. I loved my 65' Notch. I know it's still around the Santa Clara area.... CZF613 if you spot it, let me know. ... seriously. I'd buy it back.

Back on topic: you can't really compare the GT350 to the 67's because the 65 Mustang "Cobra" was probably more of a test to see if the "race on Sunday, sell on Monday" worked.
That answered the question succinctly so they continued this for a few more years but they started getting bloated. Was it the 69' with all the naca ducts all over the front-end? As a child, I thought that was THE SH!T of the day. It certainly looked racy to me at 10. Early Mach series was cool too. But I would imagine a Boss 302 would fetch more money than a 67' Mustang Cobra.
