Think it is figured out. I was finally able to get with the engine builder and he had used solid chrome rings. The more I drive it, the less
oil I use. I'm down to a quart, every 1,500 or so miles. He suggested I try straight 30 wt, for about 500 miles, to try to fully seat the rings? So, that's what I'll try next.
Thanks for all the input. I'm glad, that I did not use that type of ring, in the Cobra. What a pain!
