I am new to the car, new to the site. I want to buy a Cobra and am in the process of researching, talking to people, making decisions about what to buy. What I am stuck on now is engine selection, small block 351W (stroked?) versus a big block FE 427 (stroked?). I live in Dallas. A Dallas owner has graciously agreed to give me a ride in his 351 engine Cobra this weekend, so I can get a feel for the power and handling of a car with that engine. Are there any owners in the DFW area who have a car with a big block FE 427 (stroked?) who would be willing to give me a spin around the block and perhaps answer a few questions?
