Hey Tom, Phil:

No..., just for clarification if needed, you are correct - this event is not me and I have nothing to do with it. I was aware of something when Mr. Rato started working on this last year when he gave me a call a few times. The only request I made was to not use our event name of Western States Cobra Bash or WSCB which belongs to our Western States Cobra group and attendees. You never know what the future holds

I wish Mr. Rato and Co. and attendees a very successful event. The more Cobra people parties the better.

On a related note, for this year our WSCG 2010 group event we'll probably end up near the Napa/Sonoma area for three days. Friday is our WSCG/CH1 loop drive on the Highway-1 coast. For Saturday we'll be grouped in the lower/upper corral at the SAAC National Convention at (Sears Point) Infineon Raceway on Saturday. Our lodging will be remote right between the two somewhere. More on that in a few weeks. DL and I just got back from a trip check last weekend, and spotted a few great places for us to stay. If enough people are interested and we can pay for a few resort logistics through our WSCG members site, we'll get by cheap this year I hope and just meet everyone there at base camp. I was going to wait to make the official announcement outside of our group site, but cat is sort of out of the bag now anyhow.
