Okay, so the mistake pointed out by my esteemed colleague, mickmate, was a good sized one and I thought, meh, I'll fix it later... I couldn't go forward tonight without fixing the problem, so here is a series of 7 photos of how I corrected the issue, along with some commentary to help it make sense... enjoy and thanks again, Mick!

As you read in the above post, the cowl hoop was too low by 1/2", which translates into 4" in scale... so off with the top of the cowl hoop and 3/8" down on the vertical tubes...


The aftermath...


I had to remove quite a bit from the front end... here are the vertical tubes being added to by 1/4", via pins and slightly longer top sections...




New top hoop being checked for fit...


And soldered in place...


After the correction, with everything back together and looking correct, now...


I knew something was off, when the hood tubes were pretty far from horizontal, but I wouldn't know how far off everything was until I was able to take some critical measurements this evening... It's all good now, though...
