Default Powerjection initial experience

So far I have only a couple of hours time running the Powerjection I on a 520HP 418 SBF. Got the Powerjection I vs. III because at the time the P1 was the only one to also control spark timing/advance via the (MSD) Ford TFI electronic distributor. This is the MSD version of the same dizzy that came on millions of mid/late-90s 5.0 EFI Mustangs.
Disclaimer - Comp Mutha Thumpr cam is a not an ideal EFI choice at 236/248 and a 108 LSA, so does not pull a lot of vacuum like a 112 or 114 would. But it was already in by the time I decided on EFI.

Two issues to sort out -

1) It idles too high. Adjustment screw is backed out all the way too. Tech line (Cody) said to cover the small air hole in the top of the TB, which I did and it helped get it to about 1100 RPM.....annoying but not a show stopper yet.
2) At 1800 cruise RPM the AFR is rich at about 11.5. My theory is it is lugging a bit at 1800 causing the MAP sensor to make it richer. When I drop to 4th and get to 2400 RPM cruise it levels out to 13 or so AFR.

The good - starts right up cold or hot, it runs smooth, no hesitation, great throttle response, seems to make tons of power from off-idle all the way to 6000 limiter.

This week is the Texas Cobra Club meet, so I will get at least 200 more miles on it. We'll see if it "self-learns" enough to correct some of the issues.
EDIT: the 520 HP dyno number was acheived with a Holley carb.
