The boxes they came in were unmarked, so I don't know who made them, although I didn't see "China" any place. You're right about changing control arm lengths and pivot points, as I've read the Heidts technical section on IFS geometry. I figure I'll be moving the pivot point of the UCAs .5" inward and about .25" upward. Hope this is not significant. I checked the fore-aft level of both control arms when the UCAs were initially installed, and they were parallel to each other. This goes against the Heidts write-up of the M II suspension that says the front mount of the UPC should be higher to provide an anti-dive provision. The welded in UCA bracket did have a rearward down slope, .25" in 7".) (So, with my new brackets, I increased the front height
.18". When you rotate the clamping arm 90 degrees you raise both pivot points about .14".

What worries me about buying new 5/8" shorter UCAs, they might be 1.25" shorter. If handling doesn't improve this summer, I'll pull both UCAs next winter and shorten the arms. If I don't weld the brackets, all I have to do is unbolt them to go back to stock.
