I have the standard middle rear view mirror at the top of the windshield and it works fine. No vibrations. It is the same mount as Doug shows, except the use of glue to the glass. It is not a suction cup to the glass. It is similar to the common glass mount found on most common factory cars. I think I could use a larger mirror like Doug's!
