Don Scott and DV, and perhaps now even CR, have CR frame mounts that let you use late Mustang motor mounts. The 302 should sit 3/4" - 1" higher than the 351W. Which motor mount to use have several schools of thought. I like the Energy Suspension polyurethane motor & trans mounts because it absorbs vibrations, but doesn't let the motor rock like the rubber ones do. If the motor doesn't rock, the sidepipes don't either. But there are other solutions which Don & DV will tell you about.

Could we convince you to put the 302 in something else and put a 351W, or 393W in your Cobra?
