Steve, you may want to ask the same question over in the Aussie forum as we have many LSX powered cobras.

Our rego emission requirements are way more strict than yours so we adopted the LS X chev engines some time back starting with the LS1.

I know one of our members "Stiffy" has a Daytona with a 6Ltr so you may well get a response from him.
