351 won't fit with truck EFI, but will with Pro-Jection, or carb.

It's your car, your motor, your $$$. Our opinion, you'll be happier with 351 (or 393) power in your Cobra.

Read some of the posts. First time some kid in a Camaro kicks sand in your face, you'll be asking about a 351 (or 460) build up.

You'll spend less time & money bolting what works on your car, and being finished with a given part of the assembly. The CR assembly manual can tell you HOW to put the car together, but doesn't necessarily give you the best advice on WHAT to put it together with.

The CR component shopping guide was written 10 - 15 years ago. There are better options available today.

I can tell you this. And I'm sure others share these sentiments. Building the thing can be both a labor of love, and an exercise in frustration. Driving it after you're finished building it, if you've done it right, rewards you 100 fold. There is no other car you can buy, at any price, like a Cobra.
