I was very disappointed to hear that there wasn't going to be an autocross
, but this will be my first time to run the *official* quarter mile
, so I'm game. Anyone want to drag for beers? I'm also interested in the "First Timers Class," presuming it is for open track. I'm a little nervous about open track, but this might be a good way for me to get started. I know that my beast is faster than I am.
And of course I will enter the "Popular Car Show." Isn't this one for for gnarly old cars like Ernie's and mine?
I'll be mooching off some friends of mine by staying in Glen Ellen overnight, but maybe I'll stop over in one of them fancy hotels after the banquet Saturday night. I would expect concrete parking for those of us participating in events. I guess I better start attending some NorCal SAAC meetings... Rich
