Second vote for the T&D setup if they are in the budget and build plan. Some fairly serious machining is required to use them with Edelbrock or OE heads. They are a bolt on for Blue Thunder heads.

The pushrod oiling is a nice feature if the block permits. Again an easy deal on aftermarket blocks, 390 blocks, 428 blocks, and some 427s. Factory undrilled solid lifter 427s will not allow this without more work.

Whenyou're "stuck" with the OE mounting provisions I have had decent luck with Ersons as long as spring pressures are moderate (+/-600 open), and with the Dove HD stuff as well. The T&D is way better though....
