Hi Everyone,

I am starting at on a Cobra Project. I am based in SoCal and looking to buy a second hand cobra (Superformance / FF5 etc) and then install an auto transmission. I know this not the traditional way, but unfortunately it is the only way I can drive a car. A cobra is my dream car.

Can anyone give me helpful thoughts on how to go about getting a mechanic / shop to install what I think will be a C6?

Does anyone know how much this would cost? Time to install? How much I would lose in HP? What other items need to be installed like cooling mechanisms etc? Anyone know a good shop or mechanic who has done this in SoCal?

I am looking at trying to get a Mark 3, Superformance with a Rousch engine..so if anyone knows one for sale in this area - let me know.
