Well, it's just my opinion of course... I don't care for the intake manifold runner look as well as the valve covers. The motor in general just has a very "busy" look, with coils and "stuff" all over it. Covering it with a plastic over cover only moderately helps, it hides the engine. But I want to SEE the engine, not some plastic cover!
Here's what I would do and it's only a matter of time before SOMEONE does! Come up with a engine dress up package. Dump the eight coils hanging like an after thought on the valve covers for starters, hide them, not the engine. Do something to clean up the intake runner "bundle of snakes". Unlike the GT-40 "bundle of snakes" exhaust which looks really cool, this intake is not in the same category at all.
CLEAN lines, thats what it needs. The '55 Chevy is a good example in this case, very tastefully done, simple, to the point, not over kill. Then there is the motor, dam, just doesn't fit well with the theme.
