Don't want to lessen his family's loss. But as a Paramedic......Safety Belts, safety belts, safety belts. They are seat belts when you sit on them and safety belts when you use them. I've seen too many crashes where survival would have been possibility with their use.

I hate telling the family that we did everything that was possible but the outcome wasn't successful.
