The other thing I dont get is this --

Isn't 2010 supposed to be the "Amnesty" year for all the erroneously registered Kits and Rods to come in from the cold and get all legal-beagle' >?

I had heard from a SEMA spokesperson that CA DMV has stated publicly -- that there are seventy thousand (70,000) cars in CA that are in the hands of enthusiasts -with either a wrong title , misrepresented use tax (reg fees) or other.

and--Big Momma wants her money....
