OK, about 400 more miles of driving since last post. Throttle response is "right now" with no hesitation. Power is very good.
Keep in mind I am an EFI newbie. I've been annoyed with a high idle for most of the time, but did not have time to call Retrotek or mess with the software until today. All I did was do what the tech line advised....that is the target AFR settings have the most impact and are easiest to adjust. So I hooked up the laptop to the ECU and set the idle AFR to 14.5 and it settled down immediately to maybe 900 RPM. I figure I cant go much lower than that with the cam I have.....gets a bit less than 12 inches of vacuum at idle.
So far I've have no complaints, and I would recommend PJ. But if you can, you should get a cam with an LSA around 112 or more. I have 107, thus the low vacuum.
