We use them in the race cars for 2 main reasons... 1) strength 2) durability... They are particulary great for the twisties cuz you don't need to clutch while shifting... The Jerrico was invented by a guy that had lost the use of his left leg & needed a tranny that could be shifted without a clutch... You gotta figure that you aren't gonna have the TQ of a 'Cup car so the thing oughta last a lifetime... Got a friend that retired a couple of years ago that may have one or two or least can get you a deal... I put in a call, but got his VM... Will get back to you...
