Don't forget to find a good Italian Beef sandwich shop and also try Chicago Hot Dogs. Forget the salad on top, but some of the stands have some other great toppings for the dogs. I haven't lived there for a long time so perhaps a local can suggest some good shops.

One of the best displays at the museum of science and industry is cross-sectional slices of real human bodies in one of the stairwells. It's fascinating. Easy to miss. Ok, I know it sounds gross, but it really is something to see.
