Default TRANNY STUFF

mr bruce- You also might consider a G-force tranny if you are looking to buy a trans new. Craig-aka 750HP and I have talked at ends about this possibility. Dave Salkowski aka Dsalkowski on this board is running one with MUCH success. They are rated to 1300 hp and are true clutchless trannys. A e-mail to 750HP will draw a glowing response I'd bet.
As for the Jerico, they are a mixed bag I have seen. They are dog ringed and have square cut teeth, have the best warranty In the business but I have seen mixed failure rates on the road race stuff. The 4/sp road race peice looks really good on paper though I know of no one that has used one in a cobra. (or in your case a altra light car). The 4/sp NHRA boxes are VERY GOOD though thru about 700 lbs of torque. I wouldn't consider the 5/sp box's either. Better to go with 4 gears and the right ratios, that are optional anyway.
5/k $$$ seems to be the cost going both ways by the time you sort it all out, Re: used and rebuilt vs new. Maybe you can steal a Gerico to as they are much more common than the new G -force stuff. Don't pass on at least looking at G-force. It's the real deal.
