When I built my car, I bought a set of 4 heavy duty adjustable tie-down straps from Home Depot (approx. $12) that worked real well. They were individually rated (each strap) at about 1200 or 1500 lbs capacity (if my memory is correct), more than enough to handle a Cobra body. I also used a load leveler (from Harbor Freight), but since the straps are adjustable, it really wasn't necessary, just easier to use. Good luck.
