The only time I use anti-freeze is if the car will be exposed to freezing temps. Since my car is never exposed to freezing temps; maximum cooling, pump lube, and corrosion protection are achieved with water and Prestone Super Anti-Rust. There are other corrosion inhibitors that will do the same thing as Prestone. I won't comment on WW and other surfactants except to say that if it makes you feel good knowing it's in there, then pour a bottle in... the odds are that your water pump seal will be just fine...
