Question need help with weatherstripping

I'm seeing if there is a product available to create your own rubberized
weatherstripping for trunks and hood.
Something like a silicon gel that could be applied to the body, lay the Cobra hood or trunk on top and form a "custom" fit . But still be removable once it "sets" up. Maybe by using a release material.
The variations on the underside of my body parts prevents a good seal with traditional methods.
Of course .......Maybe I'm just dreaming.
Thanks
Dave
