If you have the room to mount a dual filter bracket and it is arranged so the filters are parallel rather than in series. Parrallel filters would proscess the quantity of
oil being sent by the
oil pump. Each filter would only have to proscess half as much
oil. There by reducing the restriction caused by the filters while delivering the original quantity of oil. Oil tempertures may be lowered a bit and the quantity of oil in the system would be increased by a quart. This was my thought but I couldn't figure where to locate that dual filter hanger bracket. Usually when ordering the oil filter bracket you have a choice of Ford or GM type filters, The GM filters have a larger thread nipple for a larger center hole.
