What do you use to cut the aluminum so evenly? The only thing I can think of are tin snips and they make an absolute mess of it.

Also I just installed a new VDO voltage gauge. I used a spare wire from harness behind the dash that is hot when key is turned on and grounded to my wiper motor. But I get a reading of almost 16 volts, the max on the gauge, when I turn the key on. Same with engine running. Plus, when I kill the power the gauge goes to zero real slow like a fuel gauge. Odd. Any ideas?
