That article is referring to REPO wheels. The originals never had any safety pins.
You may think you're an expert because you have a REPLICA of a REAL car but when it comes to Corvettes, you're out of your league. I've been a member of the NCRS for over 30 years and have had several Top Flight (look it up) cars with knock-off wheels. Don't use Google to make you look like you know what you're talking about. It will make you look like a fool.
