I paid $35K for my ERA, got it right here on CC. The thing I really wanted with the car was the side oiler with high rise heads and matching dual four intake, date coded, 1964.

Well, in many ways it is showing it's age, certainly not a show car. But it sure has been an awesome daily driver. Age does not seem to impact ERA's one way or another. You do your regular maintenance, like I've done through the years, and it's a solid ride. They really are a terrific car.

Those yellow letter Goodyear slicks are "hand grooved" and absolutely should NOT be used on the street. I know, I have the exact same set on second set of wheels that I put on the car for track time. While I have driven them a little on the street, man those things are paper thin and got no traction in the wet. Stick like crazy when they warm up though. I trailer my car to the track when I have those tires on it.

If I was in the market today, I'd seriously consider mrmustangs ERA at $45K over this one. Bill's has a genuine side oiler AND tunnel port heads. Pretty cool and a decent price.
