What are the issues with the throttle cables on the B and B. I am deciding which way to go. I have seen Larry's mechanical setup, which looks pretty good, but I'm inclinded to go with a simple cable. Control Cables Inc. can make any length cable I want and has a fitting that is long enough to bolt through the firewall.

What would be the ideal length for the cable?
Does the cable rub on the steering shaft? Any other issues to consider?
