First thing to do is find a good engineer that has experience with these type of cars, he will be able to steer you into the right direction of what you need to do to comply with the ICV rules.
Also talk to a local AC Cobra car club, they may even be able to recommend a good engineer and give you some advice.
Getting a ICV through Rego can be a real nightmare, even when you do go by the engineers instructions.
It may be easier to just buy one thats already built and rego'd?
