There is a bleed port in the master cylinder that allows fluid to run "backward" whenever the master cylinder piston is fully retracted. If more calipers were locking up, I would have speculated that the port was blocked, but in this case it obviously isn't.

Khansmith's problem is likely a loose or misaligned caliper, malfunctioning emergency brake mechanism, or a sticking caliper piston.
