Default Crotch belt Install in an ERA
I have been getting around to installing the crotch belt on my restraint system since this past winter . Have a question for any ERA guys that have installed the 5th belt in the late 427 SC chassis . My chassis has a frame member right where I need to drill a hole in the floor under the seat to install the belt anchor . Doug at ERA gave me one solution where I attach it to a 3/16" cold roll bar that is connected to the seat frame , however , I would prefer to attach it to the floor with a backing plate if possible .
How did you guys do it ?? Any suggestions are welcome .
